Mike Maertens

Mike Maertens is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with over two decades of

progressive leadership experience in finance, operations, and strategic business

development. Currently serving at Elevated Beauty Group, Mike leads both the

Operation and Finance teams at EBG.

Throughout his career, Mike has demonstrated exceptional ability in driving

organizational growth and efficiency across diverse industries. At NextEra Energy, Inc.,

he served as Senior Director of Finance, Nuclear Group, where he revolutionized

management reporting systems and implemented sophisticated analytics tools to

enhance decision-making processes. His tenure at Constellation Energy as Director of

Business Operations for the Calvert Cliffs Power Plant showcased his talent for

developing robust budgeting processes and leading high-performing teams.

Prior to these roles, Mike held key positions at Trico Products Inc., where he managed

finance operations across North America and played a pivotal role in establishing the

company's presence in China. His international experience extends to cross-border

operations, particularly in Mexico and Asia, where he has successfully implemented

cost-reduction strategies and operational improvements.

Mike's expertise spans global strategic financial planning, P&L management, mergers

and acquisitions, and organizational re-engineering. He has consistently demonstrated

success in streamlining operations, implementing effective fiscal controls, and driving

business growth through strategic initiative development.

A graduate of Walsh College, Mike holds both a master’s degree in finance and a

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. His educational background, combined

with his extensive practical experience, has shaped him into a forward-thinking leader

who excels at building cross-functional partnerships and delivering exceptional results.

In his current role, Mike continues to demonstrate his versatility by managing not only

traditional CFO responsibilities but also overseeing all operational functions. Including

production and DC operations, purchasing, and IT. His strategic approach to financial

management and proven track record of success makes him a valuable asset in driving

organizational growth and operational excellence.
